Mark is a 36+ year beverage industry veteran with experience spanning wholesale distribution, supplier leadership, national sales, and route-to-market. Over his career, he has managed business across all 50 states and developed a deep understanding of how brands, distributors, and markets work together across the U.S. three-tier system.

Role at BrandAmped

Mark focuses on expansion strategy, helping BrandAmped brands determine where and how to grow. He brings decades of national sales and distribution experience to market prioritization, route-to-market, distributor strategy, and geographic expansion.

Having spent his career across both the supplier and distributor sides of the industry, Mark understands what it takes to enter new markets, build the right distribution relationships, and turn expansion into sustainable growth.

Background

Mark began his beverage career in the late 1980s with Heidelberg Distributing in Cincinnati before joining Jackson Family Wines in 1992.

He spent more than 19 years with Jackson Family Wines, holding leadership positions including VP of Majestic Wines, VP of Artisans & Estates, and National Sales Manager for the White Rocket wine division. During his tenure, he was named Regional Manager of the Year and twice named Divisional VP of the Year.

Mark later joined Precept Wine as Divisional VP and was promoted to National Sales Manager within six months, overseeing more than 20% growth during his five-plus years with the company.

He went on to serve as National Sales Director for Dunham Cellars and later the Independent Distributor Network, an alliance of more than 35 independent wholesalers providing wineries and distilleries an alternative path to market.

Across nearly four decades in beverage, Mark has managed business across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Montgomery County, Maryland, giving him an unusually broad perspective on national sales, distribution, and the U.S. beverage market.
