What's your favorite spirit category?

Emerging brands. I’m always looking for the fun new thing!

If you had to give a 10-minute presentation without prep, what's the topic?

Working mixology. The difference between making something impressive and making something impressive that actually works behind a busy bar.

What’s one thing you’ll never say no to?

A challenge.

What’s something people are usually surprised to learn about you?

How deep the rabbit hole goes. I’ve spent more than 25 years studying and practicing the craft of mixology.

Daniel is a 25-year hospitality veteran, mixologist, and beverage professional whose career has been built where brands ultimately have to perform: behind the bar and in front of consumers.

Role at BrandAmped

Daniel focuses on new brand opportunities and experiential activation across the BrandAmped portfolio.

He helps identify emerging brands and products that fit the platform, while working with brand partners to bring those products to life through events, activations, cocktail application, and creative programming.

With decades spent in hospitality, Daniel approaches brands from the perspective of the bartender, account, and consumer. He understands that great liquid and great branding only go so far. A product also has to work behind the bar, connect with the trade, and give people a reason to remember it.

Background

Daniel has spent more than 25 years in hospitality, developing deep experience in bartending, mixology, cocktail development, events, and beverage culture.

His work in cocktail craft has been featured in multiple national publications, and his expertise led to an appearance on Bar Rescue as one of Jon Taffer’s industry experts.

Throughout his career, Daniel has built his approach around what he calls “working mixology,” applying creativity in ways that remain practical, executable, and commercially relevant behind a working bar.

That combination of creativity and real-world hospitality experience now informs his work at BrandAmped. Daniel brings an operator’s eye to new brand opportunities and helps translate products into experiences that bartenders, accounts, and consumers can actually engage with.
