Dan leads capital development for BrandAmped, working with founders who are raising capital and investors looking for opportunities in the beverage space.
He helps evaluate potential investments, works through the financial side of the opportunity, and develops relationships with the people and groups that can help fund the next stage of a brand’s growth.
Background
Dan has spent more than 26 years in mortgage banking and financial services, building experience across capital markets, underwriting, business development, and strategic growth.
In 2023, he founded Powerhouse Investing Group with the idea that private investing could be built around a strong community rather than simply access to capital. Since then, Dan has helped raise more than $15 million for 11 portfolio companies through a network of more than 160 accredited investors across 23 states and three countries.
Dan co-leads the firm’s Investment Committee, where he evaluates and underwrites new opportunities, and serves on its Strategy & Performance Committee overseeing portfolio performance and longer-term strategy. That work has given him experience on both sides of the investment relationship: understanding what investors need to see and helping growing companies prepare for the scrutiny that comes with raising capital.
At BrandAmped, Dan brings that experience into the beverage industry, helping develop the capital relationships behind our investment platform and working with founders and investors as opportunities come together.
