Dakota Rader
Vision & Strategy
Dakota Rader is the Founder and CEO of BrandAmped and Golden Eagle Vodka. A lifelong hospitality operator turned beverage entrepreneur, Dakota built BrandAmped out of firsthand experience building an independent spirits company and navigating what it actually takes to bring a brand to market.
Role at BrandAmped
Dakota works directly with founders on the strategy behind building and scaling their brands. His work spans business strategy, capitalization, sales, distribution, brand development, strategic partnerships, and route-to-market.
As a supplier himself, Dakota approaches every brand from the founder’s side of the table. He focuses on where the business is trying to go, what is standing in the way, and where people, capital, and resources can have the greatest impact.

Background
Dakota grew up in his parents’ restaurant and spent much of his career in hospitality, working his way from behind the bar into restaurant operations, training, and beverage leadership. Those years shaped his approach to business around hospitality, craftsmanship, resourcefulness, and a willingness to figure things out.
That experience eventually led him to found Golden Eagle Vodka, where he set out to challenge conventional thinking around vodka and build a differentiated American spirits brand from the ground up.
Building Golden Eagle also exposed a much larger problem. Independent suppliers were increasingly responsible for capabilities traditionally expected from the middle tier, while building those capabilities internally required significant people, capital, relationships, and infrastructure.
So Dakota and his team started building them themselves.
That infrastructure became BrandAmped.
Today, Dakota remains an active supplier and operator. BrandAmped is built from that perspective: entrepreneurial, innovative, scrappy, and designed around what independent beverage brands actually need to compete and grow.
